The Lord Healed My Endometriosis

At age 18, after four years of miserable cycles, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I still remember my doctor saying, “When you’re ready to start a family, you’ll probably need to come see me again to get cleaned out. Endometriosis makes it hard to get pregnant.” I lived with those words.

Six months after trying without a positive pregnancy test, my husband and I began seeking fertility treatments. After a failed IUI in 2020, I found Moms in the Making about two weeks before the conference. There was an altar call for those who needed healing, it was the first time anyone had ever laid hands on me to pray. I wondered, Could that have done it? Could that really have healed my endometriosis? I wanted to believe, but my flesh was still partnering with the lies the doctor had spoken over me.

After pursuing IVF (that never made it to transfer) and walking through a miscarriage, my body felt wrecked. I considered another surgery, but I never felt the Lord tell me that was my path. So I continued to believe for healing — REALLY believing it could be done. I attended conference again in 2021 and a Night of Ministry in 2022, continuing to ask for alignment in my body and healing from endometriosis.

In the summer of 2022, I had to pull over on the way to work because I was in so much pain. I debated driving to the ER instead, the pain was so intense. Then something shifted inside me. I was finally ready to pursue healing not just for a baby, but for a better quality of life. I wanted to be healed so I could be who the Lord created me to be, not someone consumed by pain and fatigue. So I began praying for healing over myself.

I’m thrilled to share that was the last painful cycle I ever had. The very next cycle, after conference 2022, we miraculously conceived our daughter!
