In 2021, I attended my first Moms in the Making Conference after years of asking God the same question: “Do You think this will ever happen for me? Do You think I’ll ever get pregnant?”
That question stayed with me for so long. As the years passed, it felt like God never answered me. I began to wonder if believing He would was simply my way of finding comfort.
During that conference, I strongly felt God prompting me to take a pregnancy test. I really didn’t want to. I was afraid of hearing “no.” I had experienced that disappointment before, and I didn’t want a negative result to overshadow such a special weekend. I was having so much fun with my friends and soaking in everything God was speaking to my heart.
But I chose to obey what I felt God was asking me to do. I took the test, and it came back… blank. Blank?
It wasn’t a yes, but it wasn’t a no. In that moment, God answered the question I had carried in my heart for so many years. I clearly heard Him say, “I never told you no.”
To the question I had asked Him countless times—“Do You think this will ever happen for me?”—His answer was, “I never told you no.”
That moment changed everything.
The doubt that had followed me for years disappeared. At that conference, God spoke deeply to me about hope. He reminded me that hope does not disappoint. He filled my heart with fresh hope to keep believing despite the diagnoses, despite the years of waiting, and despite everything that seemed impossible.
Then the miracle my heart had been waiting for happened. In 2024, I received the news that I was pregnant for the very first time. Today, I am writing this testimony from the labor and delivery room as I wait to meet my third miracle.
Thank you, Moms in the Making, for walking alongside me throughout this journey and for being one of the many ways God brought hope back to my heart. I will always be grateful that He used this community to remind me that He had never said no.
