As the 2025 Moms in the Making conference was coming to an end, I was already thankful for all the powerful ways God moved throughout the weekend. But in His kindness, the Lord had even more in store, more than I could ask or imagine!
At the end of the conference, we received one-on-one prayer with an intercessor. She asked how she could pray for me, and I explained that I was contending and believing for complete healing—emotionally, physically, and mentally.
After the prayer, I told her I felt a sharp pain in my chest. It reminded me of a tent stake the enemy had tried to use to hold me down. As I began to cry, she encouraged me to stay with the Lord and reminded me that the Holy Spirit was ministering to my heart. I cried out in my spiritual language, not sure what I was saying, but trusting that my soul was connecting with Father God.
Suddenly, I realized the pain had left my body, and an overwhelming joy filled me. I began crying tears of joy. I didn’t fully understand what had happened in the spiritual realm, but I knew the Lord had healed my heart and replaced the pain with His joy. The intercessor hugged me, and we both cried tears of joy together.
Shortly after, my friend, who had witnessed it, came up to me, and I shared my testimony with her. After we celebrated together, she told another friend, who told me that I was radiating with joy from across the room.
That’s the power of an encounter with the Lord. It’s meant to be shared for His glory, because He is worthy of all praise!
