06 Nov The Moms in the Making Conference Changed My Life
A year ago, I took a step in faith to travel 1500 miles alone and attend the Moms in the Making 2017 conference in Dallas, TX. I went to the conference nervous and with no expectations of what was to come.
I had no idea what God had in store for me that weekend since we were very private about our fertility journey. Once I was at the hotel, I felt comfortable sharing our journey with the 160 other women, who all shared a similar faith and fertility journey. I made some of the best friends, had a great time, and heard God answer my prayers, and questions. He provided far greater than I could have ever imagined!
The weekend was all about hope and encouragement. It left me with so much confidence, that I felt strong enough to come home and begin telling our story. Soon after, we found a great new church, and shared our story. Our new church gathered around us, prayed over us for healing and now we are pregnant with our miracle baby!
Yes, it was scary to travel without knowing anyone, but it was worth every penny and every ounce of anxiety! I left with love, friends, and a new understanding of what it means to wait in faith. The conference changed my life!
