29 Mar Natural Pregnancy and Health Baby After Infant Loss

Our fertility story is a 10-year journey in faith and healing. In 2010 I had 2 early miscarriages. In 2013 we tried IUIs and in 2014 we moved onto IVF and it worked!
We were excited to announce our special miracle baby boy! At the 20 week ultrasound, he received a fatal diagnosis. We were devastated; people supported us and we persevered in faith in the Lord and his Word. I had baby showers and passed around bookmarks with scripture’s healing promises. Joseph made it to full term and LIVED for a short time. Those moments with him were supernaturally peaceful as angels escorted his spirit Home to Heaven ahead of us.
2015 was spent grieving and with failed treatments. In 2016 we applied to be foster parents but that was closed in 2017. We still grieved but learned not to blame God. We felt led to began to pray for healed bodies and supernatural conception. When I would start a new month I would say, “One month closer to my baby.” I posted scripture around me, meditated on His promises, and was encouraged by testimonies. Then we got busy doing what he had called us to in that season: working and serving others.
I attended the 2017 MITM conference and experienced healing just from being with other believing women who really understood me. I loved the testimony and prophetic cards and the encouragement to cheer others on. That weekend my hope was renewed. In addition, I began listening to Caroline’s daily encouragement. I had a hard heart because I was hurting from loss and years of ttc but it challenged me.
I bought tickets for the 2018 conference but found it was too close to my due date because we had a natural pregnancy for the first time! Our 2nd miracle baby was born 4 years after our 1st in November 2018. We’re humbled and grateful for the prayers of so many on our behalf!
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Ps 34:18 “This is the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.” Ps 118:23 “Faith comes by hearing’ has always been my favorite verse.” Heb 10:17
