God’s Goodness Through Stillbirth

“God has provided for Josh and I so much I can’t even begin to write them all down. After we got pregnant, it took a good 3 months to finally be properly diagnosed for the cause of the down syndrome and cleft lip on Nolan but God never left our side and we felt his presence every single day. Knowing Nolan was safe and sound in Jesus’ arms was the most comforting thing we hung on to and still do today. We had so many friends and family and even strangers praying for us and so many donated and helped us financially since I did have to deliver Nolan normally since I was 21 weeks when he went to heaven. It was really tough to deal with having a bill from the hospital come in that had all the costs of having a healthy baby when we had no baby to even come home with. The nurses at the hospital were a God send, they took pictures of Nolan when he was born and made him a little knitted rose and hat, they gave us a memory box with everything in it. They were so supportive and one nurse even sat in my room and just cried with me. I know this world is terrible and some things happen that we have no idea why but when you have God on your side it is something that you can slowly get through, I know I would not be saying the same if I did not have an amazing father like him.”
