God Led Me to Lead a Moms in the Making Group

I grew up in a Christian home and attended church my entire life, but I refused to open my Bible and I believed there wasn’t anything for me in there. Well, I was so wrong! It was Moms in the Making, especially Caroline’s passion for the Lord, that got me to open my Bible for the first time in my life. Now, I can’t get enough of God’s Word. It has transformed my heart and it is the road map to my life.
.
In the summer of 2018 I really felt God calling me to minister to other women in their wait. When I first applied to be a leader, it was a few days after we had learned that we had miscarried again. At the time, I got the courage to apply to lead a Moms in the Making group in my city, but I missed the interviews for the summer group launch by a week! I was pretty bummed on top of everything else we were going through, but I trusted that God needed me to wait for his perfect timing.
.
Well God’s timing is pretty incredible because on January 4th, when my group was announced in the newsletter, was also when my due date would have been. If it weren’t for our last miscarriage, I probably would have never applied to be a MITM leader. God’s hands are definitely over this group and it has already brought so much joy out of a lot of grief and pain (and it hasn’t even started yet!). I am so excited to see what God will do through the Moms in the Making group in my city, East Bend, North Carolina that starts next month!
