God led me to Moms in the Making in 2023. At that point, my husband and I had been trying for a baby for two years, and I felt so alone in my journey. I didn’t know anyone else struggling with infertility. My friends were very supportive, but they didn’t fully understand the complexities of what I was going through.
Seven years ago, my husband walked away from God. It was a gradual slope for a couple of years until, one day, he decided he was done. There was so much anger, sadness, and church hurt. The final nail in the coffin was our fertility diagnosis. For 7 years, I prayed. I pleaded. I cried. I tried to force things.
