After I became pregnant and lost my baby, something inside of me broke physically and emotionally.
For many years, I went through different fertility treatments trying to get pregnant. My husband and I began a long journey of surgeries for both of us, IVF attempts that failed… and still, we couldn’t conceive.
At some point, I decided to pause everything. I was emotionally and mentally drained.
Some time later, I met a friend through the internet. She was sharing her pregnancy after a long process too, and when I reached out to her, she told me that what sustained her through everything was her faith. She invited me to her church.
From the very first day I went, something changed in me. My perspective shifted, my heart changed, and my faith grew. My husband and I began building a relationship with God, and within a few months, I felt completely different—at peace, supported, and truly blessed.
With that renewed faith, we decided to try IVF again. And then, I got pregnant.
I have no doubt that this was a miracle from God. His timing was perfect. Everything I went through before was preparing me for this moment—for a deeper connection with Him.
Today, I am six months pregnant with a baby girl, and I fully trust that God’s plans are better than mine.
When God promises something, He will fulfill it, not always in your timing, but in the perfect moment. Faith is the assurance that everything will be okay, even when you can’t see it. And I can truly say that my relationship with God has completely changed the perspective of my life.
