Moms in the Making brought me closer to God and helped me realize how deeply community is needed on this infertility journey. I attended my first conference in 2024 with my mom and knew only one other person, my group leader. I sat at a table of welcoming women who showed me what I had been missing all along. I left that conference restored, encouraged, and with 20 new phone numbers.
My table leader encouraged me to apply to be a leader, so I did. I began praying for an abundance of women for the Kansas City community. Fast forward to 2025: I went to the conference knowing almost every woman there and even brought several group members along. Today my Kansas City group has 10 women, and we’re growing. We talk daily, pray for each other, and walk through every step together. They are my people, my family, my community.
Moms in the Making gave me the community I had been praying for during infertility.
