Moms in the Making and Dads in the Making Changed My Marriage

Moms in the Making has been more than a resource during infertility or a place for community, it is the ministry that brought me closer to Jesus and revived and strengthened my marriage.

In August of 2021, when I found the ministry while in a dark place in our journey, I never could have imagined the profound impact it would have on my life in so many realms. What started as a need for support turned into lifelong kingdom friendships, discovering my identity as a daughter of the King, healing, and fully surrendering it all to the Lord, and then watching the same transformation happen for my husband.

When Dads in the Making launched in 2023, my husband was delicately finding his faith and wasn’t quite ready to join. But after seeing all that the ministry had done for me and reaching a place of brokenness in our journey, he took the leap in the summer of 2024 to join and volunteered at conference that same year. I began to see those same kingdom friendships show up in his life, too. Around that time, he got baptized and started initiating prayer and Bible time in our home. He began leading our family with Christ at the center, something I had prayed for years before. This year at conference, he came back to volunteer again, this time leading the other men and being the hands and feet of Jesus. People I’d never met kept telling me how clearly they could see he loved the Lord and loved serving.

This ministry is more than infertility. It’s more than the baby. It’s about the community, the ones who remind you to put Christ at the center, who point you back to the truth that a relationship with Him is the ultimate prize. I’m so grateful I found it four years ago. My life, my marriage, and my relationship with the Lord have been forever changed because of it.
