I Encountered God at the Moms in the Making Conference

Before the 2025 Moms in the Making conference, I felt lost and broken. During the conference, I encountered God in so many ways, from the moment I left to the moment I returned home.

I knew I needed to be there, but I was honestly scared—traveling alone, showing up by myself, and meeting new people felt intimidating. Still, I took a leap of faith. I chose to be brave because I knew this was something I needed in this season.

My story looks a little different, and at times I wondered, “Do I belong here?” But with every passing moment, God confirmed why He led me to the conference. I’ve gained so much support through Moms in the Making, and I’m truly grateful for the blessings God has given me through this community.

I didn’t expect to cry or show so much emotion, but I needed to. I needed to lay those emotions at the altar and surrender. Since the conference, I’ve stayed connected to the community, surrendered control, and watched my relationship with God flourish.

Post-conference, I’ve walked through other challenges in my journey, but it looks different now. I trust God. I keep declaring and believing: if it’s His will, let it be done. As a daughter of Christ, I surrender it all to Him.

I witnessed so many lives changed at the conference, and all the glory belongs to God. I truly believe God is moving and that He has a story and purpose for me in this season.

Matthew 6:33–34 (NIV)
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
