I suffered from a horrid range of menstrual migraines and GI symptoms for 20 years, beginning at the young age of 13. Through prayer and fasting with Moms in the Making, I have come to know God as my Jehovah-Rapha.
In Spring 2025, my symptoms intensified seemingly overnight to the point that I experienced about 10 migraine days per month, along with GI symptoms that made it feel completely impossible to leave home. I felt incredibly isolated, confused, and exhausted. Yet all of this unfolded in God’s perfect timing, guiding me to bring my pain to Him and to join a hope-filled fertility community, Moms in the Making.
In Fall 2025, after seeking counsel from my PCP, OB-GYN, pelvic pain specialist, and neurologist, my husband Michael and I received a sonogram report revealing that the Lord knit me together with a heart-shaped (bicornuate) uterus. The doctors explained that my heart-shaped womb was pressing on nearby organs during certain times in my cycle, which was likely causing the symptoms. They also shared that it could be very difficult to conceive and carry a baby full-term.
Yet God has been so faithful. He has protected me and filled my cup to overflowing with His hope, joy, and peace. He is the Great Physician, the Giver of Life, and my womb is fully submitted to His will.
I praise God for revealing that He knit me together with a heart-shaped womb, because with every ache and pain, He makes it crystal clear that His heart is strong for healing. God supernaturally provided next-day appointments with doctors to run tests and adjust medications—when naturally, I would have had to wait months.
As I write this testimony in early February 2026, God has healed me of these symptoms for one full month. The doctors are astounded.
I believe the Lord brought this healing through joining a Moms in the Making group, through the beautiful connections He provided at our home church, and through participating in the January 2026 Moms in the Making 21-Day prayer and fasting. During that time, I came into wholehearted agreement that my womb is fully submitted to His will and that His heart is for full healing and freedom in community.
