At our recent Moms in the Making leaders retreat, we did a prophetic gift exchange, and I just have to share what God did through it!
Lindsay got me a gift, and her prophetic word for me was all about following my dreams and making the big step God was asking me to take. Right before the retreat, I had the opportunity to leave teaching and apply for a job as an aquatics director. At the time, it didn’t feel like the right choice because there were a lot of “scary things” holding me back.
But after receiving that word, I ended up applying, and I got the job!
Not only did everything work out perfectly, but it turns out I could have been let go from my teaching job anyway due to budget cuts. Over 20 people were let go.
I just love how the prophetic encouraged me to listen to God. It’s been so encouraging to see how He worked everything out, even when I couldn’t see a way.
I’m so grateful I found Moms in the Making and for how encouraging this journey has been. I hope this testimony encourages you as much as it encouraged me!
