I KNOW this year’s MITM Conference is going to be amazing. From celebrating year 10 to having the theme be “Anything Is Possible,” I just knew God wanted me to go. The only problem was that we are a one-income household, and money is tight. But I knew that if God wanted me there, He would make a way.
He first started by having someone pay for my conference ticket! They offered so generously, and I’m incredibly thankful!
Next, He connected me with an awesome roommate for the conference whose family member had already paid for her hotel room. She didn’t want me to pay her back for any of it because it was a gift!
Third, He used my tiny Etsy fundraiser, and I raised $222! Almost enough to pay for my plane ticket from Virginia to Texas… almost!
But today may have been the craziest thing I’ve seen Him do financially for me. I had gone thrifting about a week ago and bought a dress for $6.99. I brought it home and threw it on my dresser, basically forgetting about it until Sunday morning when I needed a dress to wear. As I pulled it over my head, I felt a thump. Something hard and square-ish was in the pocket! I reached in and pulled out $315!!!!
All of that cash, plus the money from my fundraiser, is more than enough to pay for my plane ticket and some extras while I’m at the conference!
God completely paid for every aspect of me getting to this conference, and I didn’t have to pay for any of it. He is so good! I am so expectant for what’s going to happen this year, and I can’t wait to be in Dallas with my MITM family!
