My name is Ashten, and this is my testimony of how God is a promise keeper and faithful! In 2022, my husband, Destin, and I started trying to grow our family. We were ecstatic when we became pregnant quickly. However, at our first appointment, they couldn’t find a fetus or heartbeat and sent us to the emergency room. To our devastation, we learned we had experienced a form of failed pregnancy called a blighted ovum at 7 weeks. I miscarried on December 11 of that year.
That Christmas, at a family gathering, my sister-in-law gave us a drawing of a vision the Lord had shown her. The drawing depicted the three of us, with a baby in my arms. After receiving treatment for my blighted ovum, I knew I needed support. I asked around at my church, and through God’s perfect timing, I found Moms In The Making. One of the leaders, Ashley Coen, had recently started attending my church and was looking to start a MITM group. I joined her group and have never felt more supported. MITM is an incredible organization that has truly blessed my life.
In October, I applied for a scholarship to the MITM conference. My husband had been unemployed, but I felt called to attend. I never win anything like scholarships, yet God opened the door, and I received the scholarship to attend the conference! God is so good! At the conference, I had several women pray and prophesy over me and my womb. I also attended a prophecy breakout session where I received a direct prophetic word. A woman in my group told me I would receive my rainbow baby after much hardship. On the last day of the conference, as I was driving home, I saw a small sliver of a rainbow in the sky, and I knew it was a confirmation of the prophetic word I had received.
Fast forward to 2024: my husband and I began trying for our rainbow baby in March. Then, on Mother’s Day of all days, we found out we were pregnant again on our first try. MOTHER’S DAY!! That was such powerful confirmation for us.
On December 31st at 7:57 pm, our rainbow girl, Raelynn Rose, was born. God is FAITHFUL!!
