God Blessed Me With a Fertility Community

Before Moms in the Making, I would wake up in the middle of the night consumed by thoughts of infertility. I cried in the shower most nights and felt deeply alone, even though I had a support system around me. But last summer changed everything.

God opened a door I didn’t even realize I needed. He gave me space to release the sadness I had been carrying for so long. Now, instead of crying in the shower, I pray, thanking Him for the blessings in my life. Through the Moms in the Making community, I’ve made not just one, but several friends who truly understand. I’ve learned to let my emotions come out in group, and I always leave feeling refreshed and lighter.

At first, I was skeptical. Other online support groups had actually increased my anxiety, so I questioned whether this would be any different. I tried to talk myself out of it, considering the cost, gas money, a 45-minute drive each way, and the commitment. But God quieted every excuse, and I’m so thankful I listened.

He also led me to a conference that deeply moved my spirit, where I recommitted my life to Him through baptism. If the beginning of this testimony sounds like your story, I challenge you to take the leap of faith. Learning more about God and building a true sisterhood may just become one of the most life-changing decisions you ever make.
