For three and a half years, my husband and I tried to conceive. Month after month, I faced negative tests. Tears were shed, and prayers were lifted up. After two rounds of IUI, we finally got pregnant with our miracle boy, who is now two years old.
In the summer of 2025, we decided it was time to start trying for baby number two, not knowing how long it might take this time. After just two months of trying naturally, we got a positive pregnancy test. I remember feeling scared to test, but the Lord clearly spoke to me to act in faith and take the test. I was overjoyed when it came back positive.
A few weeks later, at our first doctor’s appointment, we found out we were pregnant with twins, God had doubly blessed us.
During my pregnancy, however, our marriage was tested to its limits, and I experienced some of the darkest seasons of my life. God used my Moms in the Making group to rally around us in prayer. Through the semester Bible study and even a meal train, they helped carry us through uncharted waters.
God showed up in that season in miraculous ways, healing my husband and strengthening our marriage tenfold.
Now, as I hold my baby girls and watch my toddler play, I see God’s hand in every step of our journey. Through infertility, I learned to lean fully into the Lord, realizing it wasn’t my fault or my husband’s fault that we weren’t pregnant yet. I surrendered completely to God’s ways, and He showed up in ways I could never have imagined.
