From Hopeless to Holding Two Miracle Babies

When I joined MITM in August 2019, I was hopeless, defeated, and felt isolated in the journey of infertility. At the time, my husband, Ryan, and I had been trying for two years. I was hesitant to join a group because of fear and the worry that no one would truly understand. (Confession… I circled the block for 20 minutes trying to find a reason not to go. I wasn’t successful!) That night, while sitting with three strangers, I had never felt more seen, heard, and understood.

Throughout our infertility journey, Ryan and I faced many difficult seasons, both medically and financially. The MITM community prayed with us and supported us through every hardship. While I can’t share every detail here, we’ve seen so many testimonies of God’s goodness. By July 2022, we felt at peace with our family being just the two of us.

But in July 2023, after 19+ months on the waitlist, our adoption agency contacted us—we could finally begin the process! After much prayer, we submitted our application in September. To my surprise, my MITM family gifted me a fully funded trip to the 2023 Moms in the Making Conference, planned in under 3 weeks!

Seven short weeks after the conference, our miracle boy, Jackson, was born, a story only God could write. We finalized our adoption in May 2024 and thought our family was complete… but God had other plans.

After 8.5 years of negative tests and being told we had less than a 2% chance of conceiving, even with help, God did it again, a completely natural, unmedicated conception. Baby brother is due July 2025.
