My fertility journey started out rough. I became bitter and angry when others were getting pregnant, and I would question why things were so difficult for me. I lost touch with close friends who had children and removed myself from any conversation or gathering centered around kids or pregnancy. I even became distant from a close family member who got pregnant.
Once I found Moms in the Making, I began to realize that there is hope in the waiting. I found a community that understands what I’m going through and supports me through both the good times and the bad. I feel that MITM has brought me closer to God and strengthened my faith. God has now become the center of my daily routine. I look to Him daily through prayer, praising Him, worshiping Him, repenting, and resting in Him. He has provided me with so much rest, peace, and hope through His strength.
I feel so powerful and free knowing my journey is in the Lord’s hands. He has taken away my fear, worries, anxiety, and stress. All I have to do is trust, anticipate, and hope in Him. I never thought I would say this, but I am thankful for my waiting season, as it has brought me closer to Him and has given me the opportunity to praise Him for His strength and the miracles He blesses us with. I would not be where I am today without Him.
